FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

Hans Andersson Group
Hans Andersson Chemicals has a 50% ownership of Hans Andersson Axchem Nordic which is a part of the Hans Andersson Group. Hans Andersson Group is a family-owned firm whose base is located in Sweden. The group’s main business activities include these five specific areas: Chemicals, Paper, Metal, Plastics and Recycling.

Chemicals
Each year we supply around 30.000 tonnes of paper chemicals annually from around the world to paper and pulp mills in Scandinavia and Europe. Due to cost-efficient logistics we can provide a wide assortment at the right price. From our location at Gothenburg harbour, we can quickly deliver quality products mainly from China, Thailand and India.

Paper
The paper business involves the trade of paper and boxes throughout the entire world (we handle about 200.000 tonnes per year). Our widespread network enables us to find a buyer. We offer, and accept both prime and surplus material, stock locks and side runs. We are able to incorporate a wide variety of differing arc sizes and can deal with both large and mixed combinations which we can convert at our own plants.

Metal
We are one of the leading actors in the Nordic region for iron and metals recycling. We offer everything from localised recycling solutions to major total contracts. Besides giving a guaranteed price, we offer financing and the storage of metals – both scrap metal and primary metals. Each year we are recycling some 100.000 tonnes of iron and scrap metal.

Plastics
Plastics it the market leader in Sweden when it comes to recycling plastic material, and thanks to our large network we can always find disposal for surplus material and recyclable plastics. We do testing and quality assurance of all materials, which is about 40 000 tonnes per year.

Recycling
Annually we manage at least 750 000 tonnes, which makes us one of the largest in Sweden. We handle everything you need to get rid off regardless may it be paper, plastics, metal, batteries or other wast.
